Hi Brian,

I've just bought the multiple instance of vBa Dynamics and I would like to use one instance as a kind of diary/reminder/appointment system where members could enter dates on the calendar that they needed/wanted to remember etc. Is this possible or is the mini calendar global and public?

Thanks :)

Renada

Sorry, but I don't think that's really going to be possible since the calendar shows all entries posted by every user and there are not any options to make it private.

Thanks for the reply Brian :) Any chance of this becoming an option in the future?

Use vbulletin calendar. Create a calendar, and in the permissions set
Can View Others' Events to NO. That calendar will automatically becomes private

But I couldn't create one for every member could I? What I was looking for was the option for members to have a personal diary where they could keep reminders and appointments and notes etc.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll play around with the calendar a bit :)

You only need to create one calendar. That calendarid will be the same for everyone, but they will be able to see their entries only. :-)
