I've purchased the dynamics license for the article capability, but though that it could also pull through forum posts etc, but it seems I need the other product for that.

Now the question is can I have dynamics, and cmps, and vbulletin?

So in the root have dynamics and cmps, my forum is installed in /forum.

Dynamics will be used for driving the articles, cmps will be used for a portal based home page, and the forum, well the forum.

Forum posts pulled onto the homepage with cmps, can I also pull articles into the cmps homepage from the dynamics system?

Yes you can - there is a module that allows you to display the newest entries on the home page. I have that on my site if you'd like to take a look.

I've done the CMPS installation, but trying to get my head around how to integrate cmps and dynamics now, from what I see the homepage portal will be run using cmps, my articles will be run using dynamics, and then the homepage portal must pull content from dynamics and the forum for homepage display.

Is that possible? (I mean the link between cmps and dynamics).

From the perspective of offering a preview of the forum contents and Dynamics - that is totally possible as I do that on my site right now. I have a couple of modules that display the latest article entries and the last forum threads. They give the title, # of replies, author, and date of the entry.

But if you're trying to display the actual content of the forum/dynamics then that is something I have not yet attempted.
