Hi,

I just purchased the links directory script and installed fine but when i try and view the index page under http://www.mydomain.com/links/index.php i get this error message:

Sorry, the administrator has disabled PHP Info display.

Can you tell me how to get rid of this?

Thanks for your help,

John

Sounds like you either have another hack interfering with things, or your links/index.php file is not the default. Try uploading the links/index.php file from the download package over your existing ones and see if that helps. If not, disable your other hacks/plugins and see if the message goes away.

Hi Brian,

You were right. It is another hack that is causing the error. The problem is though that the vbadvanced Links Directory is conflicting with vBCMS.

Do you know if any other customers have had this problem and is there a way of getting the two scripts to stop conflicting with each other?

I really need vBCMS but i also really need vBadvanced Links Directory.

If possible i could send the product xml file from vBCMS and maybe someone could have a look and see what i need to do to get them both running together. It would be really apprechiated.

Thank you for your time and help,

John

I can recall one other customer that was using vBCMS and had the issue with vBa Dynamics. I have no idea why the coders of the software would feel the need to display PHP info like that though (not a good idea by any means), so correcting the issue would be something you would have to take up with them. Though quite honestly, I wouldn't put it on my server.

ok. thanks very much for that advice and im thinking twice about vBCMS. One more question. do you think i could get your vBadvanced cms to look like how i have vBCMS here:

Removed link. Problem solved
(i don't mean to spam)

Thank you for your advice and help,

John
