adv_links_must_choose_parent_for_x ERROR

I tried to add a category in vba/vbulletin with Links and I got the following error message:

Could not find phrase 'adv_links_must_choose_parent_for_x'.

What does that mean?

Okay, it's letting me add sub-categories but not categories. I'm trying to figure this out. I'm using category manager, but it won't let me make main categories.

The Category Manager is really meant to allow your users to add sub-categories to any category you allow sub-categories to be added to. You can add new categories without parents and with more controls through the Admin CP.
