how to add a youtube link using CURL

how can be added a link to youtube* using curl?
actually I was able to add it (and some others) using temporarelly fsockopen then going back to curl. is there a simples way (automatic) ??

What exactly is the message you're receiving when using CURL? Do you receive it for all URL's, or just links to youtube? Can you post an example of what you're trying to link to?

the message is that the URL is invalid. this happen with youtube and with some (few) other sites

i was pointing to : http://www.youtube.com or http://it.youtube.com and both of them were considered invalid using curl and valid using fsockopen

Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Modify Settings => Submit Link Verification Options => Verify New Links

You may need to disable that setting in order to allow the links to be submitted.
