Can I use links for online music?

Now I am thinking of open music online for my site. Can I use link directory for music (Instead of links I will post music)?

You could use it for anything... There wouldn't be any options to upload the files, but your users could submit the links to the files, or you could upload them to your site and then add the link.

Thanks for your quick reply. I am not worried about upload files but I hope to hide the url links . Is it posssible to hiden url?

It could somewhat hide the links... If everything submitted is going to be a music file then your users won't really see the link they're being directed to. It would require a slight modification to the templates though as it will show you the link in the details page.

Is it possible that the link that will be displayed in the detail page will be a link created from the vb? like instead of www.xxx.com/abc.mpg it will be vb.com/forum/download?xxx1 something like that? I think when you click the link listing and click the link there are some options and when you see the view site, the link is not the intended link but link created by the template. Can this also be done in the detailed page?
