WOW this site is slow

There are only like 19 people on but it takes a minute to refresh the screen.

I guess that's good it must mean a lot of people are using vbAdvanced, but you might need to put another hamster on the wheel to keep this thing going.

I have not been able to open vbAdvanced formally to my membership because my shared service can't take the added load.

Is it vBa CMPS really server intensive?

Brian,

You're having the exact same problem as me. Your server is hosted at ThePlanet. Many of their backbone pipes are maxed so users from various parts of the country will have VERY slow connections. Look at your backbone report in theorbit for more information.

I don't think that his servers are hosted at theplanet or SM his reverse lookup does not comeup positive for any of the planets servers. :) i may be wrong though

Just now, I timed 40 seconds to refresh this page and 20 seconds to bring up the reply box.

I am on comcast cable. Sometimes I can pull down over 200KBPS, They claim 300K but I have yet to see it.

Are you sure that's 300K down and not up?

Sorry, yes it is about 300K up.
Comcast High-Speed Internet downstream speed is limited to 3Mbps, upstream speed is limited to 256Kbps. Actual speeds may vary

At any rate it is a bit faster today - the page reloads in about 10 seconds with all the images already cached. Ordinarily it would be instantaneous.
