Hey Brian,
Just upgraded to vbalinks 3 rc1 without problems, but have a request. Hope I explain this correctly.

I would like to the URL maintain it's category structure. Today, browsing to subcategories doesn't change the way the URL is formatted:

http://www.sitedomain.com/links/category-whatever/

In other words, it will stay this way regardless of the subcategory structure. Even though the breadcrumb/navigation is displayed properly, the URL appears that any category is a top category..

What would help me is if the URL was formatted as:

http://www.sitedomain.com/links/top-category/sub-category/....

I doing something similar in my vbulletin forums with vbseo. There are many forums on my new site, and doing this helps avoid errors among forums in separate categories but with similar names. The other benefit is that in my Ad Server, I'm using a mechanism that displays ads based on keywords in the URL.

So when vbalinks currently displays a top category, ads for a particular "channel" are shown that match a keyword in the URL, which is good. However, when I browse to a sub-category the top-level category keyword is gone in the URL. In that case, a "general" ad server channel is used that still displays relevant ads, but not as well-targeted.

Does this make sense?
