unregistered to see all member's links

Actually I consider this as a bug - but anyway I post it here. I might have overlooked some thing in the permission jungle.

Okay what I try to achieve is:

1) Some categories all guests can see including links
2) Some categories all guests can see excluding links

The problem with number 2 is that you are able to exclude them from random/new links - BUT - you are (at least I could not find the solution) not able to exclude the links when clicking a members all added links (link details -> all sumbitted links by). When you click you see ALL links - also the ones you should not be able to see.

Am I completely lost in jungle or is it correct. Anyway a suggestion for a solution would be appreciated...?

Permissions are still applied to the new/random links sections in addition to any categories you have excluded.

There is some thing wrong and I think it is the permission system. Okay one more time:

lets say we have the three member groups:
Guests
Normal registered member
Link member

lets say we have these two categories

Main category
sub category

----------

Okay what I would like is the following

Main category (all member groups can see the category itself when going to the link directory and the links within)

Sub category (guests and normal members can see the subcategory but not the links). Link members can see the subcategory and the links

Okay, after several hours trial and error I have not yet found any solution. What I found is that if you:

A) give a normal member status as link member (secondary group) or
B) vice verca you let him be link member as primary group and normal as secondary then it does not work.

BUT

C) If you let him only become a member of the link member group (as primary) and delete his member status in the Normal member group (as secondary) it works!!?

It looks like there is some thing wrong...
