Brian, does this feature already exist?

I would like for people to be able to suggest/request a new category or sub-category. Currently they just use my contact us link, but that's not very professional.

Would you consider this feature for the next update?

Admin CP => vBa Links => Modify Settings => User Category Options => Allow Users to Create Categories

Make sure that's set to one of the options for 'Yes'. Then edit your vBa Links usergroup permissions and make sure the 'Can Bypass Moderator Approval For Categories' option is set to 'No'. That will add a 'Suggest New Category' link next to the category select menu when submitting a link.

In that case you would need to make sure the "Moderate This Group's Categories" permission setting is set to 'Yes'. The setting was basically reveresed and changed to "Can Bypass Moderator Approval For Categories" in v3.0.0.

Ok I'll give it a go. Thanks.

I did send one out on the evening of 9/14... Perhaps you have some anti-spam software that ate it?
