Remove last post and related info

I am looking for options to remove

1) the "Last Post", Replies and Views columns from the category displays

2) the Last link and Replies on the Link Directory index.

Do I have to manually remove these fields from the templates?

There's a setting under the Category Options group that will allow you to disable the last reply column. The others would need to be removed by modifying the templates.

wouldn't it be possible to include this function into a future release of the software?

For SEO reasons it would be very helpful, if the outgoing links were real direct links, without redirecting.

It's not such a big thing to change the links to become real direct links in the templates. But as you wrote in another thread, than the hits will not be counted anymore. So we would need to also delete the hit-count everywhere where it appears. And this is a real big thing, I started with it and than gave up.

Links directory would be very usefull to find link-partners and get a better ranking. But as long as all outgoing links are redirected, our links are worthless for partner-websites. So no link-partners can be found using links directory.

Please, my big request, change this in a future release, to give us the choice to hide hit-counts and use direct links.
