Installation Parse Error

I'm unable to run the install file and i hope someone can explain this:

Parse error: parse error in ./community/includes/functions.php on line 1887

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: devdebug() in ./community/includes/functions.php on line 952

i have the correct server path, i wanted to not post that. does anyone have any ideas?
