seperating the searches

hi

i do not want links from the directory toturn up in normal forum searches and the same the other way round. When in the directory only links should be returned in the search results.

is there any way of achieving this?

This is default behaviour as far as I know.

vB forum search returns results from allowed forums and Links Directory Search (a seperate feature and search control) returns results from the Links Directory,this is how it has been all the time I have run vBA.

ah my mistake. i had taken a quick look at the two url's that clicking the two search buttons went to and didnt see the /links/ folder in the directory one.
