'News' and 'News Archive' not showing together

I ran into a surprising problem. I did the first post in my news forum and on the main page, i can only see the 'News' module showing the post. It does not display the 'News archive' module. And yes, they are both active. When i uncheck the 'News' module and only use the 'News archive' module, it displays the 'News archive'.

I tested this on other pages (which i created myself) and also there: Whenever i enable the 'News' and 'News archive' module together, only the 'News' module gets displayed. As soon as i disable it, i can see the 'News archive'.

I can still use other modules on these pages and they all get displayed. Just the combination of 'News' together with the 'News archive' does not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The news archive is for when you have more posts than your 'News Posts Maximum' in your news forum. Once you have more than that number then they will start appearing in the archive. The archive is just basically a way to show a condensed version of older posts.

BTW: Thank you so much for vBadvanced. It is THE 'add-on' for vBulletin. Well, it is really more than an add-on (IMHO).
