Getting Latest Topics Onto Non VB page

I have 5 rows of tables and I want to have the 5 latest topics from my forum in there. I have no clue how to do that. www.WordofSouth.com over by My Block Topics. I don't like updating it everyday and installed the vbadvanced cmps to do this.

I would use the news_archive module instead.

you can put down the amount of news headlines you want
to display inside the panel. ex: 5

If I am misleading this guy please just say so, since I am
by far no expert with vBadvance.

Oh but I want a specific forums section threads to be displayed though.

Why not download the free version of carp and put it in a block

You can set a specific forumid to pull the latest threads from, as well as the news.
