Homepage link in site Navigation module

Hi I seem to have a strange issue, I have the homepage marked to not be included in my site navigation, but it is showing and now I am unable to alter it. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

Does the setting show a white/red message below the description stating that it's been customized on some of your pages?
