Layout similar to old Yahoo directory?

How hard would it be to make this look like the old yahoo directory with a tree type category listing with sub categories underneath, etc?

We really need a links script, but dont want something that looks identical to vbulletin. With the current layout, it looks like you're still on the forums..

You would probably just have to modify the templates to the way you want it to look. Maybe a few file edits to get 2 columns etc
