Showing WordPress Snippets On Front Page

I am looking to link a vBulletin installation possibly with vBadvanced, with WordPress.

I am going to write a blog, and I want the blog entries to show up on the front page of my CMPS portal. Is this possible?

If not, I guess would it be possible to setup an RSS feed to post as a new thread (which there is a mod for) into a specific category, and the new threads be posted to the front page?

As far as I'm aware there are not any pre-made modules for WordPress available. There are RSS feed modules available in the Add-On Modules forum here though, or your idea of having them posted to a forum would also work.
