I've been EXTREMELY happy vBulletin and vBadvanced and here is what my site is looking like today.

HOTROD Biker (http://www.hotrodbiker.com)

I like positive feedback, but useful critiques help me even more. :D

I'm also working on a new theme that is more suitable to viewing when a member is at work. I'm hoping to have that done this weekend, if I can squeeze it in.

Hey, I like that!! It is a very nice alternative blue theme... the only thing I would suggest/ask is... would it be more appealing on the eyes if it had a light background...?

That's it - great looking site. Well done.

I'll play around with a lighter blue and see how it looks.

Thanks John, I appreciate your time and feedback. :D

Very nice. I'm not usually one for dark backgrounds either, but I kinda like the way it looks. My only suggestion would be to make the right column a little wider, but it's not necessarily bad the way it is...added to my favorites :D As long as you allow street bike riders onto your site ;)

Very nice! I personally like the colors, and they seem appropriate for the subject matter.

I'm in the stix and have to use dial up (yes, there are still some of us forced to live in the dark ages) and the front page loaded pretty quickly for me, which is always appreciated.

My site is geared to the cruiser crowd, but you are more then welcome to hang out. I'll probably be getting another Sport Bike in a few years. My little brother wants to get one, and I'll want to ride with him... I know my Harley doesn't stand much of a chance of keeping up with him.

As far as the right column, I may ditch it all together. I'll move what I want to keep, and go down to 2 columns. With the darker look, it feels a bit cluttered to me and the right column is pretty narrow, as it stands now. Decisions, decisions.

That's good to hear, I am always a bit worried about load times for dial-up users. When I got stationed in Key West, I went from a blazing fast cable connection, in Chicago, to dial-up. DSL finally made it down here about 8 months ago, and cable internet just hit the market. So, I haven't had dial-up in awhile now.

Awesome. Most people I ride with ride cruisers, but I just love bikes in general. So bike talk is good. :D

Very nice, seems to load fast...Agreed, maybe a more contrasting background. Also, I noticed on your vbadvanced homepage you have "HOME" and "FORUMS" in your nav_bar...You may look at using a conditional to have it show "FORUMS" when you are at your homepage and "HOME" when you are in the forums. You can see mine at http://www.weapondepot.com

Looks great, keep up the good work!

I'm seen that mod, but I also have a gallery and I would rather have the uniformity of all 3 options. Thanks for the heads up though. :D

I tried a few things, but I didn't like any of the changes. I'm going to stick with what I've got.

I just used a tutorial from vbadvanced to create a new box then used simple html to create a link to the gallery. It shouldn't matter who's software you are using since it is only a link.
