Question 'Install PHP File'

This one does not contain any problems rather a question to Brian, the Author of vBA. I'd like to know why you decided to write this complex install PHP File instead of writing a simple XML Install file as usual what we know by Importing vB AddOns. Sorry for being nosy but this question do have a deeper background. How do you think about it, Brian? Thanks in advance :)

I wrote mine before vB's system was around, and still prefer it. Plus a .xml file uploaded to vB can't handle things like updating your image paths.
