proper image link path in module

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great new year!

Can someone please help me here?

The problem is this...

The image path (URL) of an image in a module is not going to the proper path to where the uctual image is located, therefore an error is showing up.

See attachment.

The little white box with the red x in it is where the image should be showing up and actually does in the actual post but the image is not showing up in the module because the module is not giving the proper path to the image.

In the attachment you can see that the path show ..../images/simpsons.bartmooningsmall.gif

but the path should be ..../forum/images/simpsons.bartmooningsmall.gif

The image shows fine in the post, but the module is giving the wrong path to the image.

The question is.... how do the correct module to give show the proper path to the image?

Okay, I was searching this site and found this answer.

"Updating Smilies & Icons Manually:
Log into your Admin CP, go to your Smilie Manager and Icon Manager, and add the full URL to each image listed in those sections.
Example: http://yoursite.com/forums/images/smilies/smilie.gif or /forums/images/smilies/smilie.gif "

This does fix the problem and corrects the path to the image in the module on the CMPS front page of my site, but by changing this path..... the image does not show up in the actual post in the forum.

Any suggestions? I would like to be able to correct the code related to the module opposed to the code related with the forum post.

**** Important..... BTW, this is a news module that I am using and the problem is with smilies.

I just entered the full path of the smiles in the Icon Manager for each smilie and it fixed its appearance in both cases.
