Problem with Upgrade (3.01 to 3.1)

followed instructions. upon pressing upgrade i get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined method vb_activecache::flush() in /home/****/public_html/includes/adminfunctions_template.php(2359) : eval()'d


Can anyone help trouble-shoot the upgrade?
I'm considering a full uninstall an re-install but i would first like to know what the problem is.

vb_activecache() is not a vBa CMPS method, so it sounds more like an issue with another plugin you have installed.
