Just upgraded my vbulletin and vBadvanced this morning. Upgrade of vbulletin to 3.8.1 went without hitch. However after I upgraded vBadvanced I can no longer access my home page. Instead, I get this error:
Database error in vBulletin 3.8.1:
Invalid SQL:
SELECT threadid, firstpostid FROM thread AS thread
WHERE visible = 1 AND open != 10 AND thread.forumid IN(Array)
ORDER BY sticky DESC,dateline ASC
LIMIT 1;
MySQL Error : Unknown column 'Array' in 'where clause'
Error Number : 1054
I go to vBa CMPS and run diagnostics and all files check out. I have two plugins that I run on the site: GARS and PhotoPost.
Any ideas?

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Default Settings => Show All Settings
Try going there, save your settings to make sure the cache is updated, and see if that helps.

Thanks for your assistance Brian.
Tried what you suggested, and it had no impact.
FWIW, I can navigate directly to my vbulletin install and it works properly (www.bonsainut.com/forums).

I turned off all modules and the home page loaded without errors, so I turned on the modules one by one until I found the offending module (there is only one). I will post a solution when I find it, but it seems like it is not a general vBadvanced issue, but instead has to do with something I did to customize my site with this particular module.

I'm having the same issues, except I don't get any errors, it just goes directly to my forum page instead of the index.php where my homepage was.

I had two customized News modules that will need to be changed/updated. Otherwise everything seems to work well.

Sounds like you overwrote your CMPS file when upgrading.

Note that when upgrading vBulletin in the future, you will need to rename the index.php file before uploading the vBulletin package, otherwise you will overwrite the CMPS. If this does happen, simply rename your vBulletin index.php file back to what you named it before, find your original copy of the cmps_index.php file, rename the file to index.php, and upload the file again.
