Add "Links" to Main Nav Bar - HELP

I added this into my navbar template

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="http://www.trumpetcentral.com/links>Links</a></td>

right before the FAQ section, but it does not show up???

also I added the code that shows Forums when on Home, and Home when on Forums... How do I make Home & Forums show up in Links...

Thanks in advance... I looked around, but can't make it work...

Any ideas?
