Aaarrgh. Still having trouble. Trying to link to page, and I get this error:

Fatal error: Failed opening required './vb/admin/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /Library/WebServer/Documents/global.php on line 744

When going to this address:

http://x.russbo.com/index.php?page=test1

Page is called test1, direct to it is test1

What did I do wrong?

Thanks guys!

Looks like you've done something weird with your forum/global.php file... Either that, or you have your chdir path set incorrectly in the CMPS.

Yes, I've done something weird. I've tried a few things with the chdir path, leaving "chdir", and omitting it. How exactly does that go? And I guess I should completely redo the global php file.

If your CMPS is in the same directory as your forum then you can just remove that line. Otherwise you need set it to the full path (there are instructions on how to find this in the FAQ section of the readme file).

done that. as per the directions. Not sure if that's the problem. Here's the error I consistently get:

Fatal error: Failed opening required './vb/admin/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /Library/WebServer/Documents/global.php on line 744
when going to http://x.russbo.com/index.php?page=test1. I've redone my global.php file again from scratch, following directions implicitly.

Care to install this for me??? :)

Are you running vB3? There is no admin/congif.php file in vB3...

Yes, just upgraded to 3.03. Board is working fine. And I get no "main options" in the default section of the hack (in control panel). Really not sure what's going on.

You're modifying the wrong files or something then. There's no way a vB3 forum would output the errors you've posted.
