Usernames not staying.

I have set up a new board and I have installed this portal but my users are not able to log in from the portal page.

after putting the username and password in it redirects them back to the portal but the username hasn't completed.

username: test
password: test

forums address: http://forums.vres.org.uk

I had a similar problem with my site... check your vBulletin Options, and make sure the Site URL and Forum URL are correct. I had mine spelled out to "forumroot/index.php" and it was giving me the same problem. That's my best guess anyway :)

Go into your AdminCP, vBulletin Options ( it should be at the top of the column) and then check the Contact/Site Url/Forum Url settings page.

the only thing that isn't working is the username and password bit, I have the news and other information coming thru to the portal no probem
