Show Threads in a Specific Forum Module

I'm looking for a mod to display only threads in our articles forum in a random or new order. Is it possible for only to show as chronological order of the original post of the thread?

It doesn't quite fit the bill. I need it to show only one forum in my VB site. I ended up coding this as a templete w/HTML for the time being.

I'm sorry I don't understand. What do you mean show only one forum?

IF you mean show threads from only one forum, then of course this module vbadvanced has can do that for you, you just select which forum you want to show threads from.

Both the News and Recent Threads modules give you options to limit the threads to a specific forum(s).
