My Linksdirectory is not showing any links, all I'm getting is:
Links Directory > Header Category
Main Category
not containing a single link.

Were there links showing previously?

Have you added links?

Have you changed anything?

Let's start again.

If you add a new link does it display?

If your logo /header area is not showing you need to update your images/paths/CSS you can do this by running the install script again and using the update images section.

When I add a link, it does display.

OK, you need then to set up your categories/sub categories and add links to them.

This script does not add links automatically or pull them from your forum if that is what you were expecting.

No, the Links Directory is an application to display links that you and your members add, usually relevant to the content of your forum.. There would be no point in you having the same links as everyone else which is what would happen if any links were included.

You got a point mate.
How do I get rid of that link vbadvanced is putting on top of my logos. It replicates the forum name, more or less on top of my logos. It's supposed to be a link back to the forum, or?? I don't need that. Thanks for your help.My logo is showing ok, it's the vbadvanced link which is right on top of it.For this stupid program I paid 28GBP, I must have my head tested.40 bucks, without a basic link or bookmark selection, that's certainly a good con.He must see us all coming.

Nothing stupid about it, Links Directory is a very powerful tool, what suprises me is that it is not twice the current price. Somehow you have misread or misunderstood what you were buying.

Brian provides an in depth description of the application here http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=productinfo&productid=2 and gives both Live and Admin demos so you can see exactly what you are getting, nowhere does it say anything about including any links.

You also have this http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=sitelinks&productid=2 which lists some of the many 1000's of sites running vBa Links Directory. Look through some of these sites and you will see just how configurable this application is. (2 UK sites near the top ,Briskoda.net and Burnley Web are good examples.)

I hope the file has gone up.It either gets rid of the logo or is in the same place.I've uploaded it to RS:

If you would like to change where the header logo is pointing to you'll need to edit your 'header' template and change the link in there.

Thank you for answering. What exactly am I looking for.
sorry for spouting off, I just found a dodgy mod which gave me a lot of trouble.Did you have a look at the snapshots??If yes,I delete them.I don't want that link at all.

which one do I delete,I got the header and the vbadvanced link directory templates and the rest showing
All my logos are pointing to /index
I do not need the link supplied by vbadvanced, that link is not working anyway

There is no link supplied by vBadvanced, that's your vBulletin header template being called. If you don't want the logo to link to anything then you can remove that link. Otherwise you'll likely want to change it to "$vboptions[bburl]/index.php$session[sessionurl_q]" so it will point to your vBulletin index page instead.
