This has been a constant problem ever since I installed CMPS 3.0. I ignored it for a while, but now it can not be ignored.

Here is the problem. When I load my homepage: www.weusecoupons.com, everything seems to work just fine. But when you click on some of the links in the navigation bar, you start to have problems. First, the arcade, then others. Now, when I'm forcing my users to change their passwords, if they are located on the homepage, then they can't see the page they need.

What is interesting is once you are in the main forum area, all the links in the navigation bar work just fine.

It's only when you are in CMPS pages that the navigation bar does not function correctly.

I thought for a while it was the something to do with the diagnostics tab in the vBa CMPS in my ACP. In it, it says that my URL isn't valid. I have in that area, "upload/index.php"

But when I place simply "./index.php" in that area....here is what happens:

All of the CMPS pages now work perfect, unlike before. But the most important link, the one to the forum, isn't working at all. It simply refreshes the homepage.

I need help!!!

Okay.....after looking around a little, I made this change:

./upload/index.php

now some things seems to work. I'm going to look and see, but it still says, invalid url.

But again here is another issue.....when I force my users to change their passwords, IF it's time for them to change their password, AND their entry page was a main forum page, they vB will direct them to the appropriate page, which for us is:

http://www.weusecoupons.com/upload/profile.php?do=editpassword

But if they were to enter the site using the homepage. vB will ask them to change their password because it has expired, and will direct them to this page:

http://www.weusecoupons.com/profile.php?do=editpassword

Which doesn't have the 'upload/' , and will result in a 404 not found.

For future reference, updating your navbar links is covered in our FAQ.

As for the password redirect issue, I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of the CMPS.

I have gone over and over that faq many times, still nothing.

The password redirect is only happening when you are prompted by vB to change your password because it is old, not when you are logging in normally.
