Hi,

Can someone help me? I just upgraded to the latest version of vba. I have completed everything as the steps requested and I am now receiving the following errors that appear to all be coming from the 'modules' files:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function vba_template_alter() in /home/constant/public_html/forums/modules/news.php on line 191"

This happens for every page except for the forums page.

My site is www.trancesessions.com

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

Thanks for your help!

I just noticed this instruction that I did not do in the upgrade process:

"Now you will need to chmod the /forum/modules folder to 777:"

But I'm not sure how to do this... hmm

Any suggestions?

That would probably mean some of the files were either not uploaded OR they were not all overwritten correctly.

Try re-uploading the files to your server.

The modules folder permissions are not normally changed during an upgrade, but to chmod (change permissions/attributes ) you can right click on the relevant file/folder in your FTP client a menu opens giving several possible actions, one wil be change permissions/attributes or "chmod".

Awesome!

Thank you!!! Not only did what you say work - but the whole reason I needed to upgrade was because someone suggested to me previously that the compatibility issue I was having with ie7 would be fixed if I did - and now it is fixed

I'm going to sleep like a champ tonight! haha thanks for your help man :)
