Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Submit Link Verification Options => Verify New Links

Try setting that option to 'No' and see if you stil have the same problem. If so, try disabling the 'Auto-Fill Submit Form With Meta Data' setting (listed under 'Submit/Edit Links Options') setting as well.
