Neither of my posts appear when I search for "New Posts"? I posted a new thread and a post in another thread but they do not appear.

Just looking for help with these threads, please

Ask this for help in vbulletin.com. This is an issue of vbulletin not of VBA.

I guess you were overlooking them? I see two new threads from you and at least one or two that you replied to in the search results.

Hmmm, nope. I looked to no avail and I ran a page search and it did not find any new posts made by myself.

Thanks Tom. That's what I have been doing to find my posts to see if there have been any replies.

There have been no replies so I tried a New Post search and my posts are not showing up. No one sees them so they can't reply.

Try logging out so you are just a guest visitor, then do the Today's Posts post search. Any new posts will be there, if things are working properly. It's only on your account that you won't see your latest post; the rest of us will see your post. The only exception would be if the thread was deleted. (This is the way it works at most of the vBulletin forums I post at, anyway.)

If there really is something wrong, tell us what tread/posts are missing and we can test them for you.

Yup my post shows up when I search for "today's posts". It does not matter if I am logged in or out.

I cannot run a "New Post" search when I am logged out. If I run this search when I am logged in my post/thread does not appear on the list of new posts. Like you say perhaps this is how it is on this and other sites (i.e., excludes showing my post/thred when searching for new posts).

Just to note that on other sites my post or thread will show up when running a search for new posts.

Oh well, I will just have to keep an eye on my posts/threads.

Thanks

You made the post, and you (hopefully :p) read it while you were writing it, so it's not a new post and that's why it doesn't show up on a "New Posts" search.

LOL - okay, I got it now.
