Installing vbadvanced cmps 3.21 but i dont want the portal system.

Hi guys, just wondering isit possible that i can just install only vbadvanced cmps, but i dont want the portal system. can disable it?

I think that you are a little confused......... vBa CMPS IS a portal system.

CMPS = content management portal system.

You require a vBulletin forum to add the vBa products to.

Hi guys, just wondering isit possible that i can just install only vbadvanced cmps, but i dont want the portal system. can disable it?If you want to use vBa CMPS for stuff like showing modules on your vB pages or other features of CMPS but without using the normal vBa CMPS portal page then you're good to go.

When you install vBa CMPS the default name of the 'portal' page is cmps_index.php -- Unless you specifically link to that page, or make it your default index page, then your users would never it is even out there but you can still show the integrated modules on your vB pages.
