Is it difficult to run multiple installations of Links?

I'm thinking of installing a second installation of Links and modifying it pretty heavily to work as a Product Catalog. Is it possible to run two instances of Links on the same domain independently of one another?

That's certainly possible if you know what you're doing, though would require a bit of work to replace all of the database table names and such. Keep in mind that would also require another vBa Links license.
Is there any reason you're considering vBa Links instead of Dynamics for this? Unless you actually need the URL checking functions and etc from vBa Links then I would think vBa Dynamics would be better suited for the job, plus future upgrades should be easier.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. It just seemed Links was already set up closer to what I wanted. But the customization would have required a lot more work, so I picked up another Dynamics license to start customizing.
