With a few different products available now, and a few more in the works, we have decided to drop official support for vBadvanced Homepage here. Rather than continuing to support and work on an older, depreciated product, we feel it's better to concentrate our efforts on newer products, and newer versions of our existing products.
Please note that it will still be available for download at vbulletin.org. Though we are taking it off of the forum list, the old vBa Homepage support forum can still be accessed here (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4) for a little longer as well.

Sensible Brian... pragmatic decision allowing you more time to concentrate on vBA and Gallery...

This post prompted me to finally upgrade to CMPS, and I must say, you have done an AWESOME job on making that transition as painless as possible! In case anyone reading this cares, you can install CMPS and leave vbadvanced installed while you tweak CMPS to make it look like you want it to. I had customized my vbadvanced pages so much, and I was worried I would have to do all the work over again. Nope. It was easy to duplicate much of the look I had before but made it even better with the functionality of CMPS. There is simply no reason whatsoever not to upgrade to CMPS.

Excellent work Brian. Thank you sir!

If we currently use vba how painful is it to switch to cmps? I have spent so much time learning to use vba and I love it so *whines*

I had the same worries. Forget about that, do it. As was mentioned, you can leave the old system in place bilkos. You do not have to "go live" with the CMPS unless/until you are satisfied things are as you want them. It is a painless process really. And well worth it!!!

Thanks. I will have to do this after the new year!

I switched over, and it worked fine. I just had to move my custom indexs and make them adv_portal deals and it went smooth. So far, I like it! Great job!

PS - I am a real novice, so nothing I do is too fancy, as I usually stumble on a solution. If I really knew what I was doing, I would be dangerous. The way I figure it, if I can do it, anyone can! :D
