View Full Version : CMPS as Homepage Before: Change or Re-Direct To Forums!

Hi Guys....now that i totally forget to un-install first the CMPS before installing the VB4...:mad:

i'm having error about my website link which is http://mysite.com being CMPS as my homepage...before

is there any way around to redirect it to my forum which is

http://mysite.com/index.php now or change it to access my forum page? by using http://mysite.com

meaning if i or my members use http://mysite.com to access my website they will landed to my forum directly...without seeing the former CMPS which having ERROR now

please and really appreciate any help asap...

You cannot use the current version of vBa CMPS with vbulletin version 4, they are not compatible.

You will have to wait for the new version of CMPS to be published.

To change your landing page you need to configure the URL in the vBulletin ACP.

To change your landing page you need to configure the URL in the vBulletin ACP.thanks a lot CareyCrew...normally i dont want to uninstall the CMPS...still waiting the stable and good for the VB4......but the problem...i want to redirect my members direct to my forum at first if they use the url http://mysite.com (my former CMPS Homepage)...which is http://mysite.com/index.php ( My Forumhome)..as i said without seeing the CMPS ERROR PAGE....can i change it somewhere or do i have to use at first a redirect tools or script...

You could use a redirect in .htaccess or in CPAnel/Plesk if you use them.

Just do Google search for ".htaccess redirect".
