I have read through the various threads on this and I have a small problem which I am unable to solve.

During the CMPS installation I came to a page which asked me to add some replacement directories for a couple of images. That page had only two images listed, however they did not dispaly correctly - and there was no "Submit" or "Next" button so I could get no further from that page.

My CMPS seems to work with the exception that a few links are wrong, which I can fix myself.

But this variable is not set:
src="$thread[threadiconpath]"

So I get no thread icons. Where is this variable set? It doesn't work with the default nor my custom style.

Apart from this vBadvanced is stunningly simply to set up and I hope to go live with it ASAP. Then I'll be looking at the links and gallery products.

With regards,
Tormod

I should add that the problem is in the "Latest topics" list in the adv_portal_latesttopicbits template.

Sounds like the script timed out while trying to update your image paths. Try going to the install file in your browser and select the option to update your image paths from there. If it still can't process them all then you'll need to manually update the URL to each of your icons and smilies through the admin cp.

Okay, manual change works, but it is quite a bit of work...a lot of the settings have duplicated paths etc..maybe I should just revert the whole thing..

Took a while to find the default posticon until I located the setting in vBulletin Options -> Thread Display Options (showthread).

The problem was not there when I installed vBadvanced on my live server. Must be something wrong with my dev site...
