First you need to download and install the GCBOS - Generic Chat Box Operating System from HERE (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=228046)
You don't need to add it to seperate pages descibed in their installation guide if you intend using it within vBAdvanced (as described below).
In vBadvanced admin, add a new 'template' module
Module Title: Shoutbox
(or whatever you like)
Active: YES
Template to Include: adv_portal_gcbos
Style: select the style(s) you want to assign
Template Content: <!-- {SHOUTBOX} -->
Use Module Wrapper Template: NO
Set usergroup permissions
Save
Then you just need to add it to your pages, I have added it to both my index (portal) and the integrated forum pages, at the top.
