It's obvious there is a problem with the beta 1 and vB 4.0.2. I thought I would install it anyway just to see what it will do.... can't help myself ;)

Anyway, I don't know what errors or what kind of anomalies your getting with vB4.0.2. but are you getting a database error. I wouldn't think that has anything to do with the CSS code. Or does it?

I have changed the database name before the Links Update. I can't recall entering Database info into a config file anywhere except in vB config.

When I did the links upgrade, I got no errors.

Well, I thought I would just throw that out there and see what you think. :)

I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here?

Hi Brian, I'm receiving "Data Base Error" when accessing any part of Links.

This is my first "Links" upgrade since vB 3.8, it's now vB 4.0.2. I know the Beta was designed for vB4.0.0 and am assuming it worked for vB4.0.1

1) Is the Data Base Error pertinent to Beta being used with vB4.0.2?

2) If the above is "no," what would cause a Db error.

3) BTW, there are 17 Links tables in the database for Links, is that correct?

If you go here: http://mycockpit.org/links/ you'll see the Db error I receive.

BTW, there are 17 Links tables in the database, is that correct?

Unknown column 'phrasegroup_adv_links' in 'field list'

Generally that would indicate that the links directory has not been installed using the admincp/vbalinks_install.php file. You said this was after an upgrade from a previous version though, right? If so, did you do anything unusual to your database or otherwise before upgrading?

I did use admincp/vbalinks_install.php for vB Links 4.0. and did the upgrade.

I did do some house cleaning in the Db, I may of inadvertently deleted a table, that's why I asked regarding number of tables. Otherwise nothing unusual was done.

I have backups of the Db's.
