Quote Tags Overlap Avatar in News

Any way to fix the quote overlapping the avatar?

Thank you for pointing this out. It looks like the CSS for vB's quote template isn't going to be very easy to align with the avatar, so I've made a couple of small changes to the modules/news.php file in the download package here so it will switch to using a different quote template if the avatar is enabled. If you'll download the files from here again, upload the new modules/news.php file to your server over your existing one, then edit your News module through the Admin CP and add 'bbcode_quote_printable' to the 'Templates Used' setting, that should take care of the issue.

I did this but am still having the issue. Do I need to remove something from the templates used when adding the "bbcode_quote_printable"??

There shouldn't be anything you would need to remove... Just add that template to the list and make sure you've uploaded the new modules/news.php file from the download package here. It wouldn't hurt to try deleting your current news.php file from your server and then re-upload the version you downloaded from here just to make sure there's no chance the file was not overwritten.

I have added bbcode_quote_printable to the news module templates used but the problem still occurs. I am certain my news.php is the updated version because it contains the comment
// Use the printable quote template if the avatar is enabled to avoid alignment problems

It's hard to say why that wouldn't have made a difference, but if you would like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.
