I'm trying to have a page set out basically like this.

I've already made this page using tables and calling the rss feeds.

But it doesn't look very proffesional.

I was wondering if this is possible or not.

Your "Home" page can be made like that with CMPS , just remove the right hand column.

To achieve that with the forum you integrate CMPS with the forum and place modules to the left or right of the forum.

What modules would I need or do I create them myself?

"Recent thread" module can do it, however it has no option of showing a logo.
