Which path for a new vb 4 install

I am performing a new install with vbulletin 4 Suite. I intend to integrate with vbadvance CMPS.

Where should I install vbulletin? /public_html/ or /public_html/forums ?

Which would be best?

I ultimately installed vBulletin 4 in the forums folder along with the vBadvanced files. I placed the cmps_index.php -> index.php file in the web root directory.

Everything is working well.

So you have the Vb4 suite and running vbadvanced on the forums? I have tried that but think something was loaded wrong and I want to reinstall.
