I started this site about two years ago as a hobby, something I could build in my spare time.
Every time I think I have found some time to spend on it that devious, nasty taskmaster work creeps up behind and taps me on the shoulder :(

Needless to say that it should be regarded as a 'Work-in-progress' or 'Alpha' or 'incomplete'!!
(lots of it isn't working yet, like the 'Links')

I suppose you could say it has become my test-bed for the various odds and ends that eventually find their way onto the other boards I admin/run/own.

You'll notice that I have reverted to vB 3.8, this is because I don't like v4 and the vast majority of members on my other boards also do not like v4.

Forgot to mention that I 'borrowed' some content from another of my sites (just as a starter) and the Gallery is filled with temp images of my favourite part of the world, the lakes.

I see a lot of folk changing over once the trial stages are over.To get an alpha release out that is more stable than anything the obvious competition can provide with all the resources available to them .......... well :rolleyes::rolleyes:
