Hi, I like this it seems to be working but doesn't quite look the same as yours.
I'm running this on a 4.04 site, that might be why.

but take a look at mine,
http://www.caraudiocentral.net/

I don't seem to have alternating colors between rows, and the text from each column is right up against the test of the next column.

any ideas?

You can replace alt1 and alt2 table color example here;

<td OR div class="blocksubhead">

Just change it to "blocksubhead"

alt1 = blocksubhead or both

Try and send a post here I will help your requests.

Regards.

Sorry, I didn't know that you replied to this until now.
So I'm looking where do I make these changes? In the XML document? I don't see anything that says alt1 or alt2?

Sorry, I didn't know that you replied to this until now.
So I'm looking where do I make these changes? In the XML document? I don't see anything that says alt1 or alt2?

Open adv_portal_latestprofilecomments template and all code replace with;

<tr>
<td class="blocksubhead" align="center" width="10%">From?</td>
<td nowrap="nowrap" align="center" class="blocksubhead" width="50%">Comment</td>
<td nowrap="nowrap" align="center" class="blocksubhead" width="20%">TO</td></tr>
<tr>
<td class="blocksubhead" colspan="3" style="height: auto; padding:3px">
<div style="border:1px wave #8f95bf; overflow: auto; overflow-x: hidden; width: auto; height: 250px; text-align: left; verticle-align: top; padding-top: 1px; padding-bottom: 1px; padding-left: 1px; padding-right: 1px; margin-top: 1px; margin-bottom: 0px;">
<table class="block" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" width="100%" style="border: 0px" border="0">{vb:raw blackthorn_btlatestcomment_bit}</table></div>
</td>
</tr>

And now open adv_portal_latestprofilecomments_bit template and all code replace with;

<tr class="block">
<td class="blocksubhead" nowrap="nowrap" align="center">
<a href="member.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}u={vb:raw btlatestcomment.postuserid}">{vb:raw btlatestcomment.postusername}</a> <br /><span>Comment #{vb:raw btlatestcomment.vmid}</span></td>

<td class="blocksubhead">{vb:raw btlatestcomment.pagetext} (<span class="date">{vb:raw btlatestcomment.date}</span>, <span class="time">{vb:raw btlatestcomment.time}</span>)</td>

<td class="blocksubhead" align="center" nowrap="nowrap">
<img class="inlineimg" src="{vb:raw btlatestcomment.avatarurl}" width="60px" height="60px" border="0" /><br />
<a href="member.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}u={vb:raw btlatestcomment.profileuserid}">{vb:raw btlatestcomment.profile_username}</a></div>
</td>
</tr>

Save and exit then, I'd guess it will be ok.
