Guest Galore...

I had something weird happen to me the other day I had about 256 guest. Not that I am complaining but – normally I average about 100 tops on peak days… and that’s members not guests. The other odd thing is the IP was similar for all the guest just the last designator was different but they were all logged into different forums pretty randomly and performing different actions independently. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like that ever. I should of wrote down the IP I will next time if it ever happens again.

Most likely Google or another spider hit you. ;)

Thanks for the feedback - I hope it is a webbot, I tend to freak out about things like this (lol).

Ok happend again and this time I was able to get some IPs here is my trace rout info... so in case anyone else has this happen we can compare notes and figure it out. If I do end up finding out its a webbot I will let you all know.
