Links related to articles

Brian, I have one specific wish which I want to ask you about before I buy the vBa Links Dir.

I am wondering if there is a way to add links to articles, ie "Related links:" and then have a list of links which have been chosen for the article in question to be displayed.

I am not thinking about an automatic display like the "similar threads" in vBulletin but a manual link picker system.

I have such a system for my ColdFusion but if I am to integrate my news into vBulletin with vBadvanced I will need something like the feature I stated above.

I saw that Nail Geek has written a vBa Gallery thingy for articles, which is awesome. Now I need the same for links... :)

mm... seems a little difficult.. i'm not a coder if not I would definetly help you...

Basically, all that would be needed is a popup window where I can search for articles, get a list and then check a box next to the one I want to relate.

Or there could be some sort of "meta" system, where you just build up a series of topics and assign articles to that.

I actually use both these things in the old system.

I'll see if this can't be done in a simple way.

There's not an option to do anything like this in the current version of vBa Links.

I know...that's why I'm looking into it. I need this kind of feature.

You can hire a coder to help you out tormdog.. i mean if you really need it.. if not play with the software... maybe you can come up with soemthing...
