Recent Classifieds?

I use PhotoPost Classifieds and I would like to post Recent Classifieds on the main page.

How can I create a module to do that?
I am new to all this so if you could take me step by step and maybe show me the code I can follow your directions.

What I have done so far to get it started was copy the module of recent threads (recentthreads.php)

Once this was copied I renamed recentthreads.php to recentclassifieds.php on my local computer and uploaded it.

Now I have the look that I want but I do not have the function.

can someone help me out here on how to convert Recent Threads over to read the Recent Classifieds?

Willing to hire someone for the right price.
