Random Links Disappeared?

I went into my directory and noticed that the random links are no longer showing? I see the newest links but not the random and I have both options set to 5.

Try going to Admin CP => Scheduled Tasks => Scheduled Task Manager and make sure you have one there called 'vBa Links Directory Random Homepage Links' that's active, and it should show that's it was run sometime within the last day or so.

Sounds like the value for your 'Categories to Exclude From New / Random Links' is somehow set in the wrong format. Try going to Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Modify Settings => Main Index Page Options, and save the form there to update your settings cache. Then try running the scheduled task again and see if you receive the same error.

I'm not sure what else could be causing the issue if that didn't fix it, but if you would like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.

For anyone else who's having an issue with their random links, it looks like there was a small bug in the forum/includes/cron/vba_links_rand.php file causing this. The download package here has been updated to include the fix, so if you will download the files from here again and update that one on your server, that should take care of the issue.
