NewsArchive Question

i do not want to have my News Archive module on my main page... i want to create a page, the regular way, and have only the News Archive module in there on the main page..

but its impossible for some odd reason... i cannot put inactive modules on other pages unless the module is active on the home page...

any way i could?

You can create a new page rather than just a new module, then have the news archive just active on that new page.

thats what im trying to say... i cant.
it wont allow me for some reason..
it does allow me if the new archive is activated on the main page.

Make sure the module is active, un-checked on your 'Default / Homepage', and checked on your new page.
