Hi all. :)

This is my first time posting here or even visiting the site. I use vBadvanced as my home page and love it. I paid for someone to install it for me.

Until recently, it has worked flawlessly. Now I am having a problem and it may even be one that I have caused. But I can't be sure and I don't think that I have done/changed anything that would cause this...

In the userCP block, the recent posts are beginning to accumulate and the last visit date is showing several days ago, even though I was their today and the day before.

I have tried refreshing, running diagnostics in my adminCP (such as update counters, checking cookie-time-out, etc...). I am really stumped? Any help? Thanks. :)

Hi Zorobz.

Do you mean the cookies in my internet browser?

I will try that. :)

I tried that. I deleted my browser's cookies. And still am seeing more "recent posts" than there actually are...?

UPDATE

If you can believe this, my moderator suggested clicking on the "mark forums read" link. I did. And then then the userCP corrected itself. But I have never had to do that before? Is this normal? Or am I still missing something here?

Thanks for any help.

Shouldn't be any reason that would happen... Is the last visit in the welcome block module showing the same date/time as the last visit in your navbar?

I'm having an issue with this.. I hit 'mark forums read' and it still says there is new posts.. along with that people on my forum are complaining of time issues.. that they set it to their correct time zone and it says they are posting the next day at some odd time.. the server time is correct.

No clue how this could be happening. If you'd like to submit a support ticket though I'll be glad to take a look.

I have a issue as well, but opposite. None of the new posts actually show up, they are automatically shown as read.

Since the only thing I changed was the VB5 fix update (I haven't done VB6 or upgraded to CPMS 1.1 yet) I suspect it may be either something in the update, OR a browser issue. I've noticed Firefox has some problems every once in a while. :)

ok, my problem was the server was set foreward by 12 hours and nobody knew it... and it sync'd and all the sudden you had posts thrown 12 hours into the future and so they always said new and anybody that posted on them would get the first post of the thread.. now that the 12 has passed, problems gone.
